
A few hours ago, me and Chun Kit planned to go see a movie, titled "The Blood Diamond" ..so he as usual asked me to the the bookings, blablabla, etc and the rest lah. So I booked 6 tickets, and we went to get the tickets. Lined up, saw the seatings, asked whether I could change seats, blabla, and the Incompetent GSC Staff(henceforth known as IGSCS) No. 1 repeated the date, etc to me. Got me tickets, and waited for well over an hour for the show. Teng, Joey, Heng2 and Shun were supposed to join us but they only arrived 10 minutes before the show started. Damn. So me and CK waited like idiots staring at people and the preview screen to pass time. So everything going fine? Now it goes DOWNHILL.

Got into the damned cinema, and we found out that the tickets werent showing the place I was supposed to be seating which I already SAW on the screen IGSCS No.1 showed me. So we went to the place the stupid tickets show, and found that there were people sitting there already. So we thought that it was most probably a computer error and didn't give a shit. So got into the seats we were supposedly allocated, and just waited for the show to start. Coincidentally, another group of friends of ours were also there, sitting next to us. And then at that time, we found out that there wasn't enough seats. So I had to go out and get people to fix the problem. Damned show already started 3 minutes. Never mind. Went out and minorly screwed the staff, and followed IGSCS No.2 running around GSC for around 5 minutes. TRYING to solve the problem. What the FUCK.
Never mind. The dude went into the admin office, and I couldn't go in. What the hell wait lar.
I waited and waited. Wait somemore. WTF is taking so damned long wei.
At long last he came out, and the first words he said was that they couldn't do ANYTHING about it and that it was NOT their fault and it was MY fault. What the ?
I screwed his incompetent ass straight away, how dare he said that it was my fault! Finally i just cooled down, remembered that it wasn't this minion's fault.
Pissed-Off-Me : "Okay dude, I know this isn't your fault, but could you just PLEASE get me a seat ANYWHERE?"
IGSC No.2 : "Okay boss okay okay."
2 minutes later, EVERYONE DIDN'T HAVE SEATS ANYMORE.
To make a long story short, IGSCS are incompetent. Maybe it was my fault when I chose the movie time, but you can't blame me for not knowing that a sunday 12AM movie is actually a Sunday late night movie!(I booked it online, if you want you can try to see how confusing it is..www.gsc.com.my) The movie which I booked was a SUNDAY 21st January 12AM show, and I'd assumed that it was on a SATURDAY night. Isn't that correct? Technically speaking I'm still right. Mana tahu it was for a MONDAY MORNING(12am). WTF.
Sien. maybe I don't book enough movies to know. But still managed to get a refund and made a big commotion at GSC...kinda paiseh but still. :)
So, at the end of the day, I came out with this short list of what I thought of my experience there. hystericalaughter proudly brings to you.....
Incompetency List of GSC Staff :
- When I was buying the tickets, the seats shown to me were totally different from the places that I found according to the ticket, which was wrongly printed.
- IGSCS No.2 brought me running around the whole of GSC and told me it was my fault. Since when is it a customer's fault? HELLO IGSCS No.2. HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF THE PHRASE "Customers are always right"??? (I'm being a bitch but that's how people treated me when I was working in those places.)
- The staff at the entrance to the theatres who were supposed to check your tickets just let me breeze past, even though my ticket had the wrong date. HUH!? I can go in with a ticket that's expired la?
- After all the hassle, we had to wait for 4 or 5 people to come and couldn't give me any answers to any of my questions.
I think I won't be visiting GSC anytime soon. :)
